Abstract

In [CMW01] we studied "bundles of groupoids" as the fundamental structures underlying a theory of equivariant orientations. In the last part of that paper we discussed classifying spaces for bundles of groupoids, but noted a gap in a proof that forced us to restrict one of the results to finite groups rather than more general compact Lie groups. This paper fills that gap. It also discusses more general structures, "bundles of monoids" with the aim of shedding more light on some of the other classifying spaces discussed in [Wan80] and the last part of [CMW01].
